My Dogs

Hollie, Siberian Husky

Hollie was born on September 3rd, 2018. Born to a puppy mill in Kansas and shipped to a pet store in NH. She was purchased from the pet store at 12 weeks old by a young teenage couple. Unfortunately, due to lack of information and breeder/pet store integrity, the young couple bought a high energy puppy they couldn’t handle. As a young, rambunctious husky full of energy, she caused them a lot of trouble and became a destructive dog. They attended classes at the MSPCA for training, hoping to see some results. With no avail, they managed the situation the best they could before surrendering her to me at age 2.

From a dog that would destroy anything, run away, and blatantly disobey, I rehabilitated her. She now lives a life full of exercise, affection, and clarity. From helping me help other dogs to off-leash hiking, she is living her best life.

Hollie is a very social dog with every person and dog. She seeks our their affection as the social butterfly she is. She is a natural leader and likes to follow her own rules she sets for the world instead of abiding by the rules set by others.

Zuko, Border Collie

Purchased from a local Border Collie breeder in Massachusetts, I bought him at 8 weeks. His birthday is June 14th, 2022. With a clean slate of a dog to craft with, I socialized him, trained him, exposed him to things myself. He is a young, high energy dog that is not suited for the average home.

Zuko loves to work, play, and explore. Anything that involves a ball being thrown you can count him in! Hollie played a significant role in helping me raise and shape him into the dog he is today. She helped me enforce my rules and boundaries, and showed him how to exist in the world.

He likes to chill out, and bring the fire when it’s time to work. Living his best life with Hollie, helping me help other people and dogs, off-leash hiking, and loads of fetch.

He is less social than Hollie with strangers. He doesn’t love every new person and does not seek out their affection or approval. He’s a natural leader and likes to do the right thing.
